Wings of HNA-Summer Camp for Children Care
In 2010, HNA Group joined with National Ministry of Civil Affairs and United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund initiated three-year Wings of HNA-Summer Camp for Children Care. Children from various provinces and cities in China were fully funded to gather in the beautiful Hainan Island. Their healthy growth were helped in an innovative spiritual care manner and they gained benefit from a series of participatory activities, hoping that the society could be called to care for children growth and maintain their rights through actions.
In August 2010, the first Wings of HNA-Summer Camp for Children Care was held in Hainan successfully. The summer camp lasted for one week. 41 children without parental care coming from eight provincial children welfare associations, homeless juvenile protection centers and earthquake-stricken areas in Shanxi Province, Tianjin, Hubei Province, Heilongjiang Province, Henan Province, Yibin and Wenchuan in Sichuan Province, Yushu in Qinghai Province, Dehong in Yunnan Province took part in the activity. During the summer camp, the children visited HNA Shares Haikou Base, Xinglong Tropical Plants Garden, Shimeiwan Beach and Tianyahaijiao scenic spot. In August 2011, Chinese Children Development Project and the Second Wings of HNA-Children Care Summer Camp was successfully held, 48 children without parental care coming from nine provincial children welfare associations, homeless juvenile protection centers and disaster areas took part in the summer camp. This was the second time that Wings of HNA-Summer Camp for Children Care had come to Hainan Province.
