HNA Group actively organizes employees to participate in environmental protection public welfare activities, including the "Earth Hour", "Clean Coastline" and other colorful activities.

Casting the Platform of Innovation

On June 2016, HNA Group, together with the Union Tech, colaunched “the Network Promoting Green Airliners” to foster a new type of forum of global interaction, cross-border conversation, industrial cooperation, and coordinative innovation in the field of aviation in order to constitute an ecological aviation circle that unified green management, green innovation, green community and green consumption. November of the same year, HNA, hand in hand with another 12 units domestically and abroad, released the first ever White Paper on the Green Aviation in China.

Reducing the Ecological Footprints

Among aviation enterprises under the banner of HNA, from the launching of energy conservation & emissions reduction management in 2008 until now, the cumulative fuel consumption has exceeded 305000 tons and the reduction of carbon emissions has been approximately 960000 tons, equivalent to one-year carbon uptake of 36000 mu forest.
